do vegetarians eat animal crackers?

So, after over a year of planning, the 6 month journey to the other side of the pond has begun! This blog is to help document my travels, from backpacking without an itinerary to studying in Vienna. My incentive for this blog is not only to keep you all updated, but also to take it upon myself to fully explore the culture and in particular, the local cuisine. As I’m no food critic, and don’t want to be (!), I am attacking this food from the eyes of a budding landscape architect... Wish me LUCK!

Safe in Wien, more posts to come!

Hello readers! First off, thank you for reading. Secondly, sorry for my absence in the last week. Many countries in only a few days and only half a blog post finished. I have it rolling but it is not quite ready for the internet, very soon!

Unfortunately being in Vienna, my home for the next 4 months, I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Trying to get things organized for the start of school, like registering with Austria, with the school, and then with the Centre for International Relations is taking more time then anticipated.

But, after the next few days I will hopefully have developed some form of routine, and my blogging will once again become a regular occurrence.

Keep checking, I will have something extra delicious up soon!

Shannon - your blog posts are awesome. I'm just caught up now and would like to invite myself over to your future house with a pizza oven! that does sound fantastic! We will be having a pizza night here soon due to your inspiration. YOU ROCK! oh, and very glad for you that you got your bag back.
